Our sisters love to get involved not only on campus but also in their prospective career fields as Interns. Here are just a few amazing opportunities sisters are getting to experience this summer!
Layton Corless
Occupational Therapy Intern
This summer I have the opportunity to shadow an occupational therapist at the pediatric hospital Arnold Palmer, one of the Orlando Health Hospitals. Arnold Palmer is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, so it is super amazing and impactful to see first-hand the children that our philanthropy money supports! On a daily basis, I travel to the hospital's inpatient rooms with the rehabilitation therapists and get to help in any way possible, including bringing positive energy to the children, letting them know we are only here to help (and not bringing needles), as well as seeing first-hand the career field I want to join someday. It's the most amazing opportunity I could have asked for!
Lilli Solovay
North Carolina Department of Justice intern
I work with the attorney general of North Carolina to help protect the public from fraudulent companies and scams, as well as keep the office of the attorney general informed on major events and court cases. I feel so lucky to have this opportunity!
Yasamin Khosh
Congressional Intern
I Serve as a congressional intern for congresswoman Kathy Castor as a liaison between constituents and Congress in DC. I answer phones, attend briefings, write memos, and assist in political communications for the office as well.
Saylor Duff
Marketing Intern
I’m working with DPR Construction this summer as their very first Marketing Intern within their summer internship program! I’ll get to make graphics, and signage, help with planning for charity events and internal work events, learn different platforms for Marketing usage, and get so much amazing experience for my future career. I get to work alongside amazing, hardworking people and I’m excited to see where this summer internship will challenge and lead me!
Lexi White
Physical Therapy Technician
During my internship in Naranjo, Costa Rica, I was able to assist Physical Therapists in a more hands-on experience than I could have received in the United States. I was trained to perform my first ever Ultra Sound, Electric Stimulation, and to use the Physio Magneto, a magnet that releases tension within the muscles. Through watching dry needling and techniques that combined exercise and machines, I have had the opportunity to develop a spectrum of capabilities and personally preferred techniques. I have observed new machines and unique techniques that have elevated my knowledge within the medical field as a whole. I would definitely recommend you do an internship abroad if you have the opportunity, it is an immersive and beneficial learning experience!
Victoria Rinaman
Front Desk Agent at Glacier Park Lodge (Hospitality Intern)
I work as a front desk agent at Glacier Park Lodge in Montana! Here I am the first and last face that guests see as they enjoy their visit to a beautiful national park and lodge. I have learned so much about the hospitality industry and have been able to apply this knowledge during guest interactions and accommodations. I have put my people-pleasing skills to work during day and night shifts! In addition to working, I have also been able to explore Glacier National Park and its surroundings by going on a variety of adventures such as hiking and white water rafting. I will be here until the end of August and cannot wait to make more memories!
Lucie Lovato
Legal Assistant Intern
I work on case research and assist attorneys with document review! It's so rewarding to do such important work.
Jadyn Stringfellow
Customer Experience Intern at Georg Fischer Piping Systems
I research and apply benchmarking strategies in order to increase customer experience and satisfaction within the company. I also work with Machine Services to produce quotes for customers and ensure they get done in a timely fashion in order to keep customers happy!
Nicole Booth

I get to help schedule his events, call his constituents and help with political matters in our Nation’s Capital!
